My Huge Sephora VIB Haul

Hi everyone! I finally filmed my Sephora VIB haul video. I am so happy that I finished and can now put everything away so I don't have to see everything that I bought all at once and think to myself that I went overboard with the makeup buying. That was probably the most amount of makeup that I have ever bought all together within two to three weeks. I renewed my VIB status and now am somewhat close to hitting VIB Rouge. Uh oh! Not sure if I should be excited or worried because of how far my makeup spending is going. LOL Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed watching this video and please let me know what you guys bought during the VIB and F&F events. I would love to see your hauls as well! As always, thank you for watching!

Recently Spotted: All New Drugstore Makeup

Hi everyone! I was recently at RiteAid buying some items for my mom and I noticed that there were so many new products out. I haven't been to a drugstore in a while because I have been so busy. Since the lines to check out were somewhat long and they only had one cashier available, I thought to myself, might as well kill some time and check out the new makeup displays and take some pictures for you guys to see! I am sure that everyone in line was thinking that I was funny or weird taking pictures of the new displays, plus it didn't help when I forgot to mute my phone and every time I took pictures, you would hear a loud click. LOL Don't worry, I finally turned it off after a few clicks. Didn't notice after a while since I was so excited with all the new makeup out.

By the way, I just want to apologize for some of my pictures. Some of them are in the wrong direction. I don't know how to fix that. To tell you truth, that is one of the main reasons why I haven't been blogging as often, that and being busy with work. It is just so irritating seeing my pictures in the wrong orientation and not knowing how to fix it. If you guys know how to fix that problem, please leave a comment below telling me how to solve that problem.

For those that haven't had the chance to try out the Physician's Formula Super BB Cream, you can actually buy the trial size. I think the full size regularly retails for a little over $12 before tax but now you can buy the deluxe trial size for just $3.95. If you want to see how the size compares to the full size, you can scroll down. I took a picture of the two side by side.

If you have been wanting to try out the PF Super BB Cream but don't want to pay $12 for it and about $4 for a little one, just head over to Instagram. I am selling the full size ones in "Light/Medium" for $4 each. I have a few left so if you are interested, better hurry. My selling Instagram is @MakeupFromLisa

L'Oreal finally came out with eyeshadow crayons! If you have tried any L'Oreal Infallible eyeliners, then you would know how creamy and pigmented they are. Lets hope that these have the same formula and color intensity. I love the range of colors that they came out with.

My love for Revlon lip products is constantly growing! When I first saw these, I told myself that I will definitely be buying some to try out, mainly the lipsticks. I think that Revlon lipsticks are the best drugstore lipsticks out there. With it being Fall and Winter almost here, I can see the dark colors first selling out fast.

Revlon came out a new foundation for their PhotoReady line. This one claims to give you the airbrush look. Plus it comes with a pump, which is always a great thing for drugstore foundations.

Again, sorry for the weird orientation of the picture above. I don't know how to fix it. If anybody knows, please let me know. For me to fix it, I would have to upload it about 4 to 5 times before the orientation is right and I don't have time for that. Anyways, this is another product for the PhotoReady line. This is the Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Fix Multi Use Balm. I think this is somewhat the same concept as the Mally one. I can't remember the name but this claims to prime and smooth skin when worn under makeup and can be used for touch ups to eliminate shin when applied over makeup.

Another new drugstore foundation but this time, from CoverGirl. I love how it comes in a plastic container. Hopefully that will help stop people from opening makeup and swatching it. I hate it whenever I would buy a product, take it home and only to find out that it was swatched already when I got home. I think they should start doing this to all makeup or already start sealing the whole product from top to bottom in plastic. LOL

Please let me know if you guys have tried any of these new products and what you guys think about them. I would love to know your opinions on them. If you guys have any questions, please let me know and I will try my best to answer them. As always, thank you for reading and I hope you guys enjoyed my posts!

My Current Mascara Collection

Hi everyone! I have always wanted to do these types of posts (videos) featuring my makeup collection. Don't get me wrong. I do want to do the usual makeup collection/storage video but I am keeping that for a later time in the future for when I have more subscribers. Once I reach a certain number of subscribers that I have in my head, that is going to be the first video that I am going to post as a treat for myself because I love watching those types of videos. LOL If you are the same, comment below! I also love watching hauls too even though they are somewhat bad to watch because they just make you want to buy more.

This video is going to feature the mascaras that I currently have open and have been using. Once this video is done editing and posted onto my channel, I am going to be throwing away some of my mascaras because to be honest, some of them are old. Remember if your mascaras are past the 3 month date since the first time you opened it and if it starts smelling or is dried out then it is time to throw them out. Don't be an old mascara hoarder! ;)

As always, thank you for reading and for watching my video! Hope you guys enjoyed it!

Swatches: ELF Studio Blush "Pink Passion"

Hi everyone! I was going through my makeup collection and noticed that I had an ELF Studio blush that was wedged all the way in the back of one of my drawers. It did take me a while to get it out because I had to take some items out before I could reach it. Since I have had this blush for a while, I decided to finally take it out of its box and swatch it. I was surprised that I had never used it before I love ELF Studio blushes. I already own a few of them and I love the ones that I have.

At first, when I saw how vibrant this blush was in the pan, I was a bit scared to wear it. Maybe that was why it was "hidden" in the back of my makeup collection. Some people would be intimidated to wear this, much less swatch it because of how bold it is. Plus it looks like a barbie pink in the pan.

When swatched, Pink Passion is actually a gorgeous pink. It isn't too vibrant making you look like are wearing too much blush. This is a blush that you can wear to brighten up your cheeks. It is definitely a wearable blush - one that I can see myself wearing all year around. If you are a fan of matte blushes, this one would be one that you would love. Just make sure not to use a heavy hand with this when packing it on.

I was actually surprised with how gorgeous this blush one once I tried it on my cheeks. This is great for those who are on budget because it retails for $3 and you can find it at your local Target, Walmart, and other select stores. If you are someone who wants to try out different blush shades and are on a budget, I would definitely recommend this.

Review & Swatches: Anastasia Bold Brow Kit “Dark Brown”

Hi everyone! I have been meaning to do this review ever since I bought this kit from Ulta. I have always wanted to try Anastasia brow products and when I saw this kit, I knew that it was such a great deal. All the products in this set are full size and this kit retails for $36 plus tax. I think the duo brow powder alone retails for $28 and for a few extra bucks, you get a full size brow gel. As far as I know, the kit comes in three shades: Taupe, Medium Brown and Dark Brown. I decided to go with Dark Brown but next time I will probably go with Medium Brown. The kit also comes with a dual ended brow brush, which I use every day. It is definitely one of my favorite brow products.

Besides the brow brush being my favorite thing in this set, it is the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in “Dark Brown.” It comes with two shades in one compact. You can either mix the two shades together or use the dark shade for the ends of your brows and use the lighter shade for the front part of your brows. I would generally mix the two shades together for the ends of my brows and the lighter shade for the beginning of my brows. The brow powder lasts all day on my brows, even after a long day of hiking and even after working. It doesn't come off until I remove it from my brows with cleanser or with a makeup remover wipe.

The clear brow gel is quite nice too but not really a necessity for me. I could go without it. I did end up using it all up. I was tempted to buy another one but realized that my brows didn't need it. The clear brow gel does give your brows that shiny finished look, which I didn't like sometimes because it would look unnatural for me.

Ever since I started wearing the brow powder on my brows, I have been getting compliments on my brows. Brows are important and they can either improve your face or make it look wrong. With this brow powder, you can either go natural or have that dark eyebrow look. I have tried both. Whenever I decide to go a bit deep on my brows, people have asked if I had done permanent makeup on my brows. LOL

Anyways, this is a great kit and if you have wanted to try some of Anastasia’s brow products, you should definitely give this kit a try. Plus you get more bang for your buck with this. Let me know what products you use for your brows and if you have tried any of these products before. I would love to hear your opinions. As always, thank you for reading!

Swatches: Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow

Hi everyone! First off, let me just say I'M BACK! I have to be honest though, I don't know if I am going to be posting constantly because I've been so busy lately. I would love to have more than one post up on my blog once a week but with my schedule, it is sometimes hard to do. I do have a ton of pictures on my computer that I want to use up and post, especially since they have all been edited with my watermark. Otherwise it would have just been a waste of time, you know what I mean. Anyways lets get onto the actual post. I remember seeing these Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadows when they first came out. I was definitely intrigued to try these out but I was glad that I got to swatch them. There were five at my store but I think Stila has about sixteen shades.

According to Stila, "Create metal eyes that mesmerize with our Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow, a striking cream-to-powder shadow with a multidimensional metallic finish. Inspired by the runway, our one-of-a-kind formula is packed with rock-and-roll sparkle to achieve a variety of effects, from a light wash of shimmer to an opaque metallic finish. It also comes with a mini Stay All Day® Liquid Eye Primer & handy mixing tray... simply prime, combine and shine!"

I don't know the shade names of these but I am sure that you can easily google them to find out. I am a bit peeved that someone messed up one of the eye shadows by putting in too much of either water or the liquid eye primer. You can probably tell in the last shade because it looks very watery. Keep in mind that this isn't a review on these but just to show you swatches.

I do have to admit that the swatches were pigmented and definitely metallic with a foil finish. These are gorgeous colors and even swatching them made me want to purchase them to experiment more but I wanted to read up reviews on these first. If you were to buy one, which shade would you buy?

If I were to buy one right on the spot, I would have gone with the second one from the left because it looks like a great neutral color. I love those kinds of shades that can go with any eye looks. I would love to get the emerald green one as well but if only I knew how to rock green eye looks. Let me know if you have tried these and how you feel about these Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadows. As always, thank you for reading!

Review: Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen

Hi everyone! As you all know summer is right around the corner. The days will be hot and the sun will be blaring. It is important to wear sunscreen everyday, especially during those hot days when the sun could burn our skin. Everyone knows having sunburns isn't attractive especially when you want to wear shorts and tanks.

Since I live in California, the weather is always crazy. Some days its 100 degrees (like last week) and the next few days, its windy and cold. On the hot days, I like to go hiking and those are definitely the times where I need to wear sunscreen. I am so glad that BzzAgent gave me the chance to join a campaign to try and review some new products from Coppertone. I was sent one full size and two travel sizes of Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen Lotions and three travel sizes of the Coppertone Sunscreen Continuous Spray. I also received some coupons to give away with the travel sizes for my friends and family to try.

I haven't tried Coppertone products in a long time. I think I tried one years ago but that one was a bit thick for me so I am glad that I got the chance to try out the new ones. I definitely prefer the Coppertone CLEARLYSheer sunscreens because the formula is lightweight and moisturizing. My skin doesn't feel heavy with product but instead feels clean and fresh. Its absorbs right into the skin. I don't have to worry about this causing breakouts plus the scent is pretty nice too. I use this on everyone in my family and they all love it.

My little brother especially loves the sprat because he can just spray the sunscreen onto his skin and rub it in. Its great to wear on those hot days because the sunscreen spray has a cooling sensation when it comes into contact with your skin. Great to carry with you during the day when you need a cool down and protect your skin from those harmful sun rays. If you get hot during the day then you should definitely try the Coppertone Sunscreen Continuous Spray because it will give your skin a nice pick me up throughout the day.

If you are traditional with your sunscreen, I would recommend the Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen Lotion. It moisturizes your skin, doesn't clog your skin, and is fast absorbing. Its perfect for those sunny days! Plus if you apply too much, it doesn't leave a white cast or dried to a white powder finish on your face or body like other sunscreens do.

I recommend both types of sunscreens for the summer but of course everyone has their own preference whether it be in lotion form or spray form. Let me know which ones you guys decide and tried out. I would love to hear your opinions. Please comment below what sunscreens you have tried before and didn't like.

Disclaimer: I am a BzzAgent and received these free products, shown above and coupons to review and try out. This is not a sponsored post and all opinions are my honest thoughts.

Review (Plus Swatches): Wet N Wild ColoriCon Trio "Walking On Eggshells"

Hey everyone! Finally a review from me! Since I am in my blogging mood right now, I decided to do a review today. Hopefully I get to finish it and am able to post it up today. This review is going to be on the Wet N Wild ColorIcon Eyeshadow Trio in "Walking On Eggshells". It is definitely a gorgeous neutral trio. If you don't mind eye shadows with shimmery and frosty finishes, then I am sure that you would like this trio. Wet N Wild definitely makes great eye shadows and this is one of my favorites. I don't have much of their eye shadows but I am sure that one day, I would be able to get my hands on all of them. Let me know if you have any favorites from Wet N Wild and which ones you would like to see a review on. For me, I think this brand is great for those who are on a budget, or a makeup hoarder, or just someone who loves good quality, pigmented shadows. If you don't have this trio yet for some reason, you might want to know that these eyeshadows are all a dupe to some MAC eye shadows.

This trio has great neutrals for everyday eye looks. It comes with three shadows-hence trio. ;) I love how each shadow is labeled for its purpose, which is great for beginners but of course, you can use them anyway you want. I would generally use either the top or bottom shade as an all over lid shade and the crease either in the crease or as an outer corner shade. If you would like to see any eye looks using this trio, please let me know. I haven't posted any eye looks in while. My phone camera has gone crappy on me, which sucks because it used to take beautiful pictures.

The first shade in the trio is a gorgeous shimmery and frosty champagne. It is great for the brow bone and as an all over the lid shade. I heard that this is MAC Naked Lunch. If you want to see swatches of both shadows next to each other, I am sure that you can find them on Google. The second shade is great for the crease because its a satin brown. Although on my eyelids, it comes off as a coppery-gold because of my yellow undertone. This shade, I heard is a dupe for MAC Cork. I only own two MAC eye shadows and I rarely ever touch them because my sister gave them to me and they aren't shades that I would normally go for. For a person who rarely wears eye makeup, I don't know why she would pick out a green and a reddish copper shade.

As you can see from the swatches (below and above), these Wet N Wild eye shadows don't mess around. They are pigmented to the touch. If you are someone either starting to love makeup or someone with a budget but still wants good quality eye shadows, I would definitely recommend Wet N Wild eye shadows. I actually prefer their trios and their 8 pan palettes. They used to have 6 pan palettes but those got discontinued, which was shocking because they were popular too.

Like I said earlier, if you never tried these before, I highly suggest you go out and get yourself this trio and even try out their other eye shadow trios as well. To save you even more money, right now RiteAid is having BOGO FREE on all Wet N Wild cosmetics! The trios are probably around $1.99 to $2.99 each. I can't remember the exact price but with the sale, its even more inexpensive. I told myself not to buy anymore makeup until I sell some of the ones that I have but its hard not to want to buy more when stores have these rare makeup sale. Let me know if you guys end up going crazy for this sale and if you intend to buy anything. I would love to know! As always, thank you for reading!
