Review: Lypsyl Intense Protection LypMoisturizer

Hey everyone! If you didn't know already, I received this product through Influenster in their Naturals VoxBox 2012. If you would see that post and know which products that I received, you can CLICK HERE. Since I received this lypmoisturizer, I have been using it nonstop and everyday for this review. Since I am halfway done with this, I thought that it would now be the perfect time to finally start my review.

WHAT:
Taken from the Infleunster website, "created with pure Swedish beeswax, organic shea butter and vitamins A and E for long-lasting, deep-penetrating moisture and lip care protection. LypSyl Intense Protection LypMoisturizer™ helps moisturize, soften and protect your lips naturally." This lypmoisturizer is a natural lip balm to help keep your lips moisturized, which is one of the things that I love about this product. I just love how it feels on my lips and how it lasts a long time. Since using this product, my lips have actually felt softer.

PACKAGING:
This packaging is actually a bit different from your typical lip balm packaging. I am not sure if you can tell in the pictures but the tube is actually an oval shaper whereas your typical lip balm tube packaging is round and circular. LypSyl likes to describe the packaging as an "unique one-hand side allowing for quick application and the oversize application top ensures this ultra-light formula spreads evenly for better lip coverage." Because of the one-hand side packaging, its pretty big on my lips. Usually I would have to swipe on lip balm twice, one on my top lip and another application on my bottom lip but with this one-hand side packaging, all I have to do is put my lips together and swipe once. Also the typical lip balm tube is a twisty, where you would have to twist the bottom of the tube to get the product to come out but with the Lypsyl Intense Protection LypMoisturizer, there is a cute bee on the side of the tube that you would have to slide up to get the product up and slide down to push the product down. Its actually a cute idea and concept. I think more brands should do something similar with this. I always get compliments on this lip balm whenever I have people over at my house and I have it on my coffee table for easy access or when I am out and about and have to pull this out of my purse. My friends and family members always think that the bee is cute and interesting that you just have to slide it either up or down to get the product.

CLAIMS:
1. Refreshes lips
2. Moisturizes lips
3. Heals and protects lips
4. Softens and heals lips

INGREDIENTS:
Taken from the packaging, "Mineral oil, Petrolatum, Paraffin Hydogenated Cocunut Oil, Ceresin, Beewas, Flavor, Certified Organic Butyrospermum Parkli (Shea Butter) Fuit, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A Palmitate), and Bixa Ordellanna Seed Extract"

SCENT:
This lip balm does have a scent to it. It smells minty, which is pretty nice because its always nice to have minty scented lips in my opinion. Once its on your lips, you really can't smell it but if someone kisses or leans really close to you, they might be able to smell it.

Overall, I really like this LypSyl Intense Protection LypMoisturizer and will be sad when I run out of it. I am already half through the tube and will probably be finished by the end of this month. It keeps my lips moisturized and really keeps them soft all day. Plus I love the minty smell and how it feels on my lips. It gives my lips a minty tingle sensation whenever I apply this. To me, it sort of feels like those plumping lip glosses, where they would make your lips tingle and give the appearance of plumper lips. Its not as strong of as a tingle compared to those lip glosses, so don't worry if your lips are overly sensitive. Besides the feeling that it gives to my lips, I really do love the cute packaging with the bee on the side. Once I am done with this, I do see myself repurchasing this. I also just found out that LypSyl also has this in Honey Berry flavor, which really sounds interesting!! If you are looking for a new lip balm to try out, I would definitely recommend this.
